Updated Solver Template Gives NEI Users Access to the Suite’s Modeling Tools
Troy, MI—Users of ETA’s PreSys™ finite element modeling software are able to create simulation models for use with NEI Nastran, a product of NEI Software. PreSys™ supports the creation of NEI Nastran models, from the importing of CAD data, through the creation of elements and the post processing of the simulation results.
“NEI Nastran is a leading software for the simulation of structural and thermal analysis problems,” commented Tim Palmer, Inventium Suite™ Product Manager. “PreSys™ supports the creation of all of the key entities and supports all of the solutions types available in NEI Nastran. This capability offers yet another solver option to PreSys users and another environment for Pre- and Post-Processing to international NEI Nastran users.”
The NEI Nastran interface has been offered in previous versions of PreSys™ and is enhanced in the Inventium 2012 release, scheduled for June 1, 2012. Tutorials will be available to teach the user how to operate PreSys™ with NEI Nastran and how to take advantage of the comprehensive modeling tools available in the software solution. International NEI Nastran users can download the software at http://www.eta.com.previewdns.com/index.php/software-downloads.
