LS-DYNA

LS-DYNA is a general-purpose finite element program capable of simulating complex real world problems. It is utilized by the automobile, aerospace, construction, military, manufacturing, and bioengineering industries. LS-DYNA is optimized for shared and distributed memory Unix, Linux, and Windows based platforms and is fully QA’d by ANSYS LST.

LS-OPT

LS-OPT is a standalone design optimization and probabilistic analysis package with an interface to LS-DYNA. In the “conventional design” approach, a design is improved by evaluating its ‘response’ and making design revisions based on experience or intuition. A systematic approach can be obtained by using an inverse process of specifying the criteria and then computing the ‘best’ design according to a formulation.

LS-PrePost

LS-PrePost is an advanced pre and post-processor that is delivered free with LS-DYNA. The user interface is exclusively designed to be efficient and intuitive. LS-PrePost runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac – utilizing OpenGL graphics to achieve fast rendering and XY plotting.

LS-TaSC

LS-TaSC is a topology and shape computation tool. It was developed for engineering analysts to optimize structures and works with both the implicit and explicit solvers of LS-DYNA. LS-TaSC handles topology optimization of large non-linear problems that involve dynamic loads, and contact conditions.
