Dr. Akbar Farahani has over 30 years of experience in CAE and product design development, consulting automotive and transportation OEM’s and suppliers worldwide.
His areas of expertise include CAE, light weighting technologies and optimization design solutions for product design and development, vehicle concept development, investigating material options and manufacturing processes for full vehicle system BIW, Interior and Chassis/Suspension.
Dr. Farahani led the development of ETA’s patented technology “ACP Process” (Accelerated Concept to Product Process) and 3G Optimization Technology in ACP OpDesign (Optimization led design software developed by BETA CAE System and ETA).
He has managed and executed over 20 full vehicle CAE programs from concept to production in the US, Europe and Asia. He has extensive knowledge of advanced material functions for full vehicle development (Advanced high strength steel, aluminum and composite).
Dr. Farahani received his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering/Structural Mechanics with an emphasis on non-linear thin-shell structures from Brigham Young University, a Master’s Degree from the University of California, Irvine in Structural Dynamics and his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno.

Wing is a founding member of ETA and is responsible for leading ETA’s software development groups in the United States and China. He has administered ETA’s China operations since January 2018 and established two software groups; development and quality assurance. These groups specialize in developing proprietary Finite Element software for commercial usage. The software products include PreSys (a pre and post-processing software), FEMB (the precursor to PreSys pre and post-processing), Dynaform and VPG (virtual proving ground) vehicle simulation software. Prior to his role at ETA, Wing worked as a structural engineer, consulting on projects in the nuclear and automotive industries.
Wing earned a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from National Taiwan University and a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from University of California, Santa Barbara.

Since joining ETA in 2015 as CFO, Shuhab has brought a wealth of knowledge in the areas of financial analytics, enterprise project management, software engineering/ development.
He received his Bachelor of Engineering in electronics from Birla Institute of Technology & Science and his master’s degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech University.

Dr. Omar is a qualified surgeon by education. After attending university, he quickly discovered his passion for real estate investing. Dr. Omar successfully developed multiple real estate projects, followed by investing in healthcare, education and venture capital. He is passionate about business operations and instilling ‘the power of positive thinking’ in company culture. In his free time, Dr. Omar enjoys traveling and growing coffee.

Zubair has remained an active leader in the growth of ETA’s business development. He began his career at ETA in the engineering services group (crash & safety and software sales) and later on to business development and marketing. Zubair assisted ETA’s founder, Abe Keisoglou with business development while managing engineering and sales. In 2011 he was appointed to contact labor while continuing his leadership in business development.
Zubair received his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University and his Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Wayne State University.

Amy has played an extensive role in ETA’s growth for over 30 years. She began her career as the Administrative Assistant to ETA’s founder Abe Keisoglou, maintaining corporate communications, personnel matters and accounts receivable. Amy’s responsibilities continued to expand, and she served as Executive Assistant and Director of Quality Assurance. In 1998 she was promoted to her current role, Director of Human Resources. In this role, Amy is responsible for developing and maintaining employee benefits policies and programs, immigration, personnel and employment law policies/regulations as well as employment and benefit compliance issues.
Debra Hall Controller

Debra has been a part of the ETA team for over 20 years and brings an abundance of knowledge. Debra’s current responsibilities consist of working closely with ETA’s CEO, Dr. Akbar Farahani and managing the company’ financial status by collecting, interpreting and reporting data. She maintains the accounting records, forecasts and budgets for the future and implements cash management. In addition, Debra administers the 401k plan and oversees accounts payable, receivable and payroll.
Previous to ETA, Debra began her career in credit management and worked for engineering firms in Washington, DC and Michigan as an Accounting Manager.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Northwood University.

During her 20-plus years at ETA, Cathie has held various positions representing office administration, quality assurance, contract labor account management, software sales and licensing coordination. She was recently promoted to Software Licensing & Customer Relations Manager. Cathie is the primary liaison for ETA’s software distributors worldwide.
Prior to joining ETA, Cathie worked at Detroit Diesel Allison (General Motors) in the plant engineering & maintenance department.
Melissa has been a valuable team member of over 20 years. She has maintained roles as Payroll Assistant, Employee Relations Liaison, Contract Labor Recruiter and Account Manager. Melissa currently holds the role of Software Sales and Support. In this position, she works with Cathie Walton in software sales, as well as distributor relations and marketing.
Melissa studied Business Administration at Macomb Community College and Michigan State University.
Jenson began his role at ETA in 2003 and has over 18 years of experience in the CAE field using LS-DYNA, Dynaform and VPG. He has an extensive background in modern formability, draw die development, advanced CGA, draw die design, die system analysis, BIW crashworthiness, occupant safety analysis, vehicle dynamics, NVH and drop testing. Prior to joining ETA, Jenson worked on applications of advanced high strength steel in sheet metal stamping and crashworthiness.
Jenson received his Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.

Divesh leads the in-house engineering consulting team and is Product Manager for ETA’s newest software product; ACP OpDesign based on Accelerated Concept to Product Process. He began his career at ETA as a project engineer researching numerous facets of simulation such as full vehicle durability/ride & handling simulations, crash & safety, stamping simulations and optimization.
Divesh received his Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with Specialization in Vehicle Dynamics from the University of Detroit Mercy.

Ming began his career at ETA in 2010 as an intern and was promoted to Project Engineer shortly after. His role began with the study of LS-DYNA and Dynaform in sheet metal stamping, along with researching crash & safety for full vehicle and structure optimization. Ming currently provides Dynaform technical support and ACP OpDesign software analyst to clients.
Ming holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Changchun University of Science & Technology and a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University.

Abhishek Shrawan, NVH and Durability Team Lead & Software Support
Abhishek is part of the in-house NVH and Durability team along with Software Support for ACP OpDesign at ETA. During his tenure with the company, he has coordinated and executed a number of full vehicle and subsystem level simulations for performance and weight optimization for a variety of cars and commercial vehicles.
Abhishek previously worked for Mercedes Benz R&D and Mitsubishi Fuso Japan before joining ETA in 2014.
He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Production Engineering from Birsa Institute of Technology Sindri.
